Mt. Hood Village is located in the foothills of fabulous Mt. Hood, in the tiny town of Welches, Oregon. This year-round resort is an easy 45-minute drive from Portland. Bordered on the South side by the gorgeous Salmon River and on the East by the 600-acre Wildwood Recreational Area, the Village consists of over 100 heavily wooded acres, maintained by our full-time staff. The average winter temperatures remain in the 40's and average summer temperatures in the 70's, very comfortable for all seasons.
